I'm a huge fan of the original run of Roseanne. After season 6 however the quality dropped. I enjoyed very much the revival and I have enjoyed The Conners to a point. Its flawed but it has had its moments. Plenty of them.
The quality has dropped considerably this season. I'm just not laughing at it anymore. The main problem with the show and as much as I loved her character and performance in back in the day, Sara Gilbert is far too overbearing to be the lead role. She is a downer the whole time. The quality of the acting is often subpar and the writing is weak. It's a shame because I'd really like to see it do well. It's just not got it anymore.
