Lightsaber Lost

As a cohesive episode of "The Clone Wars," this does not really work. However, if you look at it as a valuable lesson for Ahsoka and a way to further her character development, then this is an episode that is worth remembering. She goes through a lot of training throughout this episode, and the things she learns from Tera Sinube are some that ultimately make the character she ends up being. I like that. The adventure was also fun, although it seems like they are having a more difficult time than they really would. I do not know if they did that to make the episode longer, but it felt like they could have gotten the bounty hunters with much more ease than they actually did. Despite that, it is a fun bottle episode that does have some good character development.

Lost and Found

This is a fun little episode.

The storyline is simple: Ahsoka has her lightsaber stolen by a pickpocket and doesn't want to admit it to Anakin. So she gets help from an elderly Jedi to retrieve it.

Nothing especially clever but a very pleasant and enjoyable diversion with nice messages about patience and wisdom. A nice character growth episode for Ahsoka.

My rating: 8/10.

OH, THE MATRIX HOMAGE

The episode is an average-ish/good one.

But that "The Matrix" homage on the rooftops, very nice, added 2 stars for that :)

My least favourite episode, by far

Star Wars: The Clone wars us really rather brilliant, but every-now-and-then it falls flat, and this is one of those occasions, sadly.

It's a good episode for Ahsoka fans, as it's 95% her, with very little of the other main characters, and the action sequences are pretty unique and fun, but that's all this has going for it, sorry.

Here's what lets this episode down: the basic premise! In the opening few minutes Ahsoka's lightsabre is stolen by a pickpocket, oh no! Her reaction? Yell at him, chase after him a little, then spend the rest of the episode on a "whodunnit?" chase, with the help of a new friend...

But she didn't even use her force powers! All it would have taken was a simple flick of the wrist to "call to" the sabre and return it to her from the thief. Simple! Episode over.

I think what they were going for was an Ahsoka-centric "heist", "chase" style episode, but if you know anything about how force powers work, the whole thing just doesn't make sense, sorry.
