''You're schizophrenic! That will be $800 each!''

Warning: Spoilers
Episode two of BBC Scotland's underrated 'Laugh??? I Nearly Paid My Licence Fee'.

Most of this episode is taken up of sketches featuring Robbie Coltrane as Ted Todgers hosting the tacky game show 'Lucky B******s'. The constestant, sorry, lucky b****d, manages to answer each question correctly and win the coveted star prize, only then to drop dead of a massive heart attack!

Edgar Bloodlusten tells a tale of a woman who has been murdered by an axe murderer and had her butchered body dumped in a river: ''Scotland Yard were baffled. Was it murder or was it suicide?''.

A musical item entitled 'Hey There' concerns a nurse who works in a mental asylum falling in love with one of the patients, who happens to be a dangerous murderer!

In 'The Master Of Dundriech', we see the brutal master after the funeral of Young Tom's parents attempting to extort from his nephew their entire estate which they have bequeathed to Tom.

Not much funny happens in this edition. The 'Lucky B******s' sketches carry on for far too long and the musical item is more boring instead of funny. There was some fun to be had however with the 'Bloodlusten' and 'Dundriech' sketches however, though one bit from the 'Dundriech' sketch would not go down very well now in which Tom remarks on his uncle's face going black with rage ( as a result of not being the legal inheritor of his family's estate ), we then see Murdoch with a black and white face not unlike that of Al Jolson.

Something to look out for - during the closing credits, the name Ted Todgers can be seen in the writing credits.

Funniest sketch - difficult to say but it would probably be this week's 'Master Of Dundriech' sketch, particularly during the funeral of Tom's parents, Murdoch and the redcoats suddenly break into song with 'We'll Meet Again'!
