Fissures in the unit becoming more pronounced
printsofdarkness4 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The promo teased the growing distrust Jay has for Voight, this being a continuation of his learning from Hank of Upton being an accessory in a perp's disappearance. Voight acquiring this new but sketchy CI serving only to erode any remaining confidence in Hank's authority should make for an intriguing mini-arc, if the writers have the attention span for it. It feels like we'll see this Ana Avalos for at least a couple more episodes, if not consecutive. I have to wonder if the collective sentiment of the cops in Intelligence right now is, "Boss, what are you doing?!"

I dunno... Justin's being dead for many years now and just this episode they decided to show Voight being emotional and missing his son... he should be also missing the other female cop who left the show and I fogot her name lol Jake's second guessing Voight again is getting old fast.. stop the passive agressive and make your play.. go to the brass and rat him out or just leave.. focus on Kevin's story and struggles.. it's much more interesting.. or Berge's ptsd or something..

I've always liked kevin and jay's characters, but 1 has become a hypocrite and the other has become a whining baby...it does feel like cop shows have gone downhill since 2020 and I don't see them changing for the better anytime soon.

What an emotional Voight's episode

I admit I don't usually cry while watching tv shows, but at the end of this episode I teared up a little. Amazing acting by Jason Beghe. You can see pain in his eyes when he's talking about his son. Very talented and underrated actor.

One of the best episodes i watch for this tv show, between showing how Voight is running intelligence and his fight with Jay.

I only have one question, how people is reviewing this episode and it only got 8.8!!!!!!

This episode if you really understand what is going on you will only review it with 10/10, .

Another great episode

The more episodes I see, the more I find Jay Halstead a complete asshole. He should never be a cop. He doesn't have the nerve for it. Well, I believe that it would be a great thing for the show if he would leave it. I have enough of him.

Jay Halstead

Warning: Spoilers
I feel as if Jay should not be apart of intelligence anymore. Why be apart of the team if you don't trust Voight. Voight is a GREAT sergeant. Yes he's had a couple mishaps, but they all have. I can't wait until he leaves the unit or Voight fires him already. Im sure i am not the only one who feels this way about Jay Halstead either. I have been feeling this way ever since Jay has been acting out and i feel as if Voight needs to put him in his place and give him a reality check. You can't keep disobeying direct orders either. Any other sergeant would have been dismissed Jay Halstead. Correct me if i am wrong.
