A simple, but watchable animated CGI short, which deals with the strange relationship existent between a silent ventriloquist and talkative his pig puppet.
Even when the animation from this short isn't that great (In fact, I would dare to say that the character designs look a bit ugly and unappealing) the interaction between the ventriloquist and the puppet is effective due the subtle humor used in this animation.
However, for some reason, this short feels somewhat flat, as it were just a little part from a bigger story, without exploiting all the potential that the premise had.
It wasn't bad, though. I have to admit that "Tragédie Grouick" was moderately enjoyable to watch. Also, against what the tittle suggest, the story isn't really tragic at all, but quite light-hearted instead.
