A very enjoyable episode, although some elements are more successful than others.Mitzy's funeral is a rather low key affair and Penn still isn't really doing anything even though he has a couple of nice scenes with Alf and at his mother's grave.
After their relationship's been neglected for most of the year, Charlie and Ruby finally have an episode all to themselves.It's mostly light and fun with a few sweet moments and a few odd ones, like Ruby being upset that Charlie's being nice to her.Ruby literally dragging Charlie out of the house is one of those role reversal moments that we haven't seen for a while.And there's actually some serious moments in there as they take the time to discuss their changing relationship.
Dexter and Adrian also reappear and are on fine form.There's a real spark between the pair and their back and forth banter is brilliant, even if Dexter does end up walking out on her.Again.
