That's it, this is the episode which Marks this series in one of my favourite.

Has to be the best episode in the series so far, the series build up to the ending was amazing. This series is only going up in world building.

Tree from Adam and Eve
shujanaislam5 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
When Marcus opens the fruit from Sue's tree, I almost thought it was her brain in there. Obviously, this is a reference to the fruit of knowledge that Eve from the bible was coaxed into trying by the serpent. What I don't understand is why the serpent (number 7) was reacting that way when Sue and Paul were trying to open the pentagon Relic. Did he want the fruit that the tree bears or does he want to stop the tree from growing?

And Grandmother, she is a lot like the Necromancer, but different. Does she have the ability to actually create life with the help of Father? Not just host like Mother. Perhaps Grandmother is Eve and Father is Adam. After all, Adam helps create Eve from his rib. And Father did help bring Grandmother back to life.

This episode has me thinking and trying to figure it all out. Really hope we get some answers in the next few episodes. Can't wait!

Solid Sci-Fi that Just keeps getting Better
ecg-prime3 March 2022
This episode blows the mind in story and special effects. Many of the mysteries of the Mithraic some assume as fable become true.

From Fathers handy work to the relics found on Keplar 22B

Well Done!

What just happen

I loved it, I got some answers, but now I got even more questions and I feel like watching theory videos on the internet. Last show that made me feel like that was Game of Thrones.

Pay attention to the overall theme
critic-97-4176576 March 2022
The show isn't about whether or not a deity exists. It's pretty much established that it doesn't. It's about life, freedom of belief, how one chooses to interpret what they experience and how that interpretation influences their actions. It also explores the concept of how an evolved being can influence the creation of new life - a process that is part of every life form's desire and natural instinct to procreate. However, just because you create doesn't mean you're your creation's god. Creation isn't necessarily done with any lofty, moral motivation. Our creations aren't always what we intend. And the creators owe their creations nothing. Yet some of us need to project meaning into our existence - and are often disappointed by the reality that we're just a part of the cycle of life and death, often leading to negatives consequences.

The show is an exploration of many of the concepts Ridley Scott attempted to explore in the Alien world, especially with Prometheus and Covenant. How interconnected life is. How life and creation isn't a moral endeavour.

Another Westworld?
botimarci4 March 2022
I am not sure if we ever will figure iut what is going on. Probably it is just me, but I have no clue what is happening, because nothing is explained in the "dialogues", I have the feeling that even the actresses/actors do not understand really what is this how about. There a lot of short, strange and fragmented sentences in "conversations", meaningless shards of thoughts, annoying "decisions" by characters - for example the birth scene on the rocky shoreline, where I had the feeling that the whole thing just happened for the sake of shocking value. So, nay, I am getting lost, and I don't trust that things will be clear at all. This is as similarly written Mambo-Jambo as Westworld in my view.

The more I watch it the more I dislike all the characters, it is getting more and more confusing, but characters themselves are more confused it seems than I am. Sure hope it will get better...

Incredible
re_carbonari5 March 2022
This show is a wonder everyone is going to remember.

It started on a character building sequence, smart yet very intriguing. What we have now in season 2 is a new set of mysteries and brand new information that could move the show for seasons and seasons to come.

This episode, like the last one, gives us the idea that the directors don't want to make the same mistake as Walking Dead, for an example.

Every episode has rich, complex and valuable information that blows your mind.

A show for intelligent and patient people who believe in the Alien/Prometheus/Predator kind of movie, only better.

It's always amazing to think about humanity with different origins and how we might have plenty of intelligent, strong and future like minds and civilizations outside our scope.

If you are one of those lazy persons who want everything answered right here, right now, forget about it. In this kind of show you cannot miss anything. Also, if you are one of those persons who watch the episodes talking to someone else, asking questions while the show is up and running, drop it as well.

Don't blame the show for being complex if you can't have discipline and commitment to watch it. Instead, go for Friends, Winnie the Poo or Walking Dead.

Absolute highlight!!!
alex-984-70842224 August 2022
This episode is so weird and absolute epic, that it made this series to one of my favourites. It is a great piece of sci for art: great and absolute unique characters, a story that is so far fetched that you can't grasp it simply by binge watching it, weird spiritual elements that lay the foundation for potential spin offs, prequels, sequels...a whole universe of ideas! It is a shame HBO cancelled it. Please!!! Let it continue...in more shows, books, comics...whatever!

dudes must be crazy
Lythas_855 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I read 5 reviewers giving this episode a 10 and one not actually giving it any score but asking what the hell is going on.. yeah, I do the same, what the hell is going on?

People changing allianced like they change t shirts after a shower.. a stupid girl going to the shore to give birth even tho she knew there were monsters lurking in the water.

I know it is bad writing to keep making characters explain what is going on instead of showing.. take denzel in the equalizer.. it never is explained what he did before but we are able to guess he was black ops CIA, formerly a marine and stuff by what it is show on screen.

But here we get neither.. it is episode 6 of the second season and we still do not know if they are actually listening to a "God" or some machine transmitting right through their brains.. we now have an ancient droid who after listening there are a few hundred humans on the planet, just turned off every screen in the room.. ok

and now by the looks of it, sue turned into a tree for some reason I do not know if it was shown or not..

I am confused.
