WOW wow WOW!!

What an incredible episode. Even though viewers already had the information, the way that all just culminated was incredible. I know it's a medical drama and this episode wasn't really dedicated to a current trauma in the hospital. Instead it focused on the fact that doctors aren't just doctors. They have more going on than what goes down in a hospital day to day. And they handle this topic with such respect while highlights a major issue. And then the storyline involving the nurse shortage (even though in real life I fell like that's various hospital's own fault.) It gave us a look how under appreciated/taken for granted these nurses are but also how extremely vital they are. They're the true backbone of any hospital or care facility. They deal with it all and are treated as if they're the "help." A hospital would 100% fall apart if not for their willingness to help others and for a fraction of the the respect or compensation they deserve. This was a very well written episode and these actors brought it to life perfectly. There's a reason I've been a loyal viewer of this show.

"A product of your own actions"

This episode threw me through a rollercoaster of emotions. The acting and the writing was amazing this episode and the plot all came together all while staying true to emergency medicine and the problems hospitals are facing everyday. I hope this show sticks around for a long time, I really want them to dig deeper into the characters and the story. The past few seasons have had a plot that stayed constant throughout the entire season which seemed exhausting but it made for a better suspense to the finale. This story started half way through the season and although it made for a great ending but it almost felt rushed. Whoever did the writing for this episode should write every episode, there were no cliches or cheesy lines. All and all it was a great episode.

Heck in a Handbasket

A great payoff to the Billie storyline here. Very emotional, big moments and the hospital coming together. This felt like an old school episode of a primetime broadcast drama in quality, something rarely seen anymore.

Finally, showing social media in its true, problem light!!
Marynewcomb20137 March 2022
We finally get a show that exposes social media, (Twitter especially) for the troublemaking problem it really is!! People running their mouths over things they have no knowledge of for anything!! The episode before this one exposed TikTok & it's content users for the selfish nonsense it is!!

Once again handling a sensitive topic flippantly

Warning: Spoilers
It's clear none of the writers have ever gone through IVF or had concerns of infertility. Padma asking her sister for "one of your eggs" is a completely ridiculous notion and not at all how egg donation works. The conversation between Padma and Leela felt so forced and like neither one had any idea what they were talking about. I really hope this storyline gets scraped or the writers talk to someone who has actually gone through IVF.

Additionally the idea that doctor could just fill in for a scrub (circulating?) nurse In the OR is ridiculous. Everyone has their own roles in the medical team and to think the doctors know all the policies and procedures well enough to jump in like that is delusional.
