Mrs. Bates (Marcia Lewis) drops in on the Martins with a cake to introduce herself as a new neighbor. In fact, she lives six blocks away, but her boy Casey (Moosie Drier, Howie on "The Bob Newhart Show") is a new student of John's. At school, Stanley is scolded by Miss Bottomly for continually being late. Valerie tells Little John that it's because a bully has taken his bike. The bully is Casey Bates. Knowing it allows John as a teacher to speak to his class about bullying. Casey is unaffected by it, however, and vows to beat up Little John unless he gives him the test answers for an upcoming exam. Ricky, Homer, Stanley and Valerie help Little John make Casey think Little John has badly injured other people he's fought before. The idea seems to work until Little John begins to morph and flees at the wrong time, making him look cowardly. Casey later knocks down Little John in the hallway and takes papers with the test answers. The counter measure threatens an extreme action when a revelation is made.
