Despite their pending lawsuit and ongoing frosty relations, Deborah shows Ava respect, love and tenderness when the chips are down, making this an amusing and charming episode.

A pretty big letdown

I love Jean Smart which is why I want to like this and want it to be successful. Season 1 was funny and engaging enough for me to look forward to Season 2. Of course 1 had its weaknesses and faults, but had so much promise. So far, 3 episodes in and I haven't laughed once. Ava is more pathetic and annoying than before. Nothing is moving forward in the storyline so it's stale. I'm disappointed. It's pointless to wish that Ava could be written off, but that might save the show.
Angry

No laughs just a bewildered sense of anger after watching this. I would go postal and kill everyone on that bus then deficate in that dresser. I just don't get this show, why Ava there? Sorry didn't laugh one time, not even a crooked smile. Oh and I fast forward every scene with the gay African American houseboy. Not even a part of the story. You can miss all those scenes and it doesn't matter.
