Forget your expectations this charming, touching and hilarious movie

Before you watch this movie, I urge you to eschew any trailers and press. The plot moves in a lifelike manner never giving you what you expect, but never making a move that doesn't make sense in retrospect. Even in the first 15 minutes you will get an impression of where it is going, but you will likely be wrong. The central question that the movie hangs on is "Who are you fighting?". Mercedes quest to figure out the answer to that question will take you on emotional highs and lows as the characters struggle with identity, politics and morality. Kristina Valada-Viars's performance as Molly is striking and believable, wearing a mask of lies over a past of so much hurt. Even characters like her mother hide great depth beneath their masks and the parts that they play in society. The acting and writing will not disappoint.

Warning: Spoilers
We met a girl named Molly who really is wanting to have that special someone in her life by going into speed dating. However this does not work out until she mets this gal Mercedes who had a argument with her girlfriend Gina and after Gina left, Molly had a one night stand with Mercedes. The next day, Mercedes regrets this and tries to avoid Molly. Until she finds out that Molly is actually a Senators daughter who doesn't accept the gay community. Mercedes then promised lovesick Molly that she will go to her fathers birthday party but only for three days. Also they pretend to be engaged by cheesing off Molly's homophobic family. From all the hurt and the challenges both girls faced, the father began accepting for who Mercedes is and his daughter. Although Molly sister Mary Bell was horrible for leaving the family like for lying to her parents that she didn't kiss at a party in which she did. I mean c'mon its natural!

I think Kristina Valada-Viars made her character really fun to listen to and the fact she blurted out random words which are so true. Seriously you would want to have Molly as her best friend! I do have to say, I wish Mercedes and Molly were a couple in the end, I was disappointed that they decided to remain friends. However this movie was well scripted and had the best actors for this film :)
