Acting Among the Living Dead (2010)

*** 1/2 (out of 4)

Very good ten-minute interview with actress Catriona MacColl who is best remembered today for her films with Lucio Fulci. This featurette can be found on the CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD release from Blue Underground and has the actress taking on various questions including how she got hired, what it was like working with Christopher George, working with Fulci and of course what it was like putting up with the gore and various infamous scenes in the picture. Some of the best moments come when the actress talks about the maggot scene and how it was meant to be filmed in a way to where she wouldn't be too frightened but then she says that Fulci's dark side came out and he decided to torture her. Another great story deals with her talking about some of the reaction that the film has received over the years and how he was amazed to realize that people actually knew and enjoyed the picture. Fans of MacColl will certainly want to check this out as the actress gets to talk about quite a few moments from the film and there's no doubt that hearing about Fulci is always fun.
