"Hello Sailors" is a comedy short that is, unfortunately, short on comedy. But it is well worth seeing just to see Buster West dance at the dancing contest near the end...it really is amazing and very athletic!
The story begins with a battleship, the USS Colorado, arriving in port. Tons of sailors and marines disgorge from the ship for liberty and soon the sailors and marines start beating each other up and try to steal each other's girls. This is about the extent of the comedy and is a far cry from a GOOD comedy short about the navy, such as Laurel & Hardy's "Men 'O War".
