Rare Ammunition

A man dies in his kitchen but he is nowhere to be found. When the CSI's investigate his home they find an arsenal in his basement. He is actually a collector because his guns are set up museum like. Suddenly the FBI shows up which is always a pain for our guys. Soon a gun running venture is being investigated and there is grave danger. I liked this episode but there are always the things that the FBI doesn't say that gum things up.

The CSI and the FBI Working Together
claudio_carvalho11 November 2023
Catherine and Russell arrive at a cabin to investigate what happened to the owner, the military Michael Newbury. There are blood and bullets casings on the floor of the kitchen, but no body. They find a hidden room with an arsenal behind the cabinet, but none of them consistent with the unusual bullet casings they found. Greg joins the investigation and finds a blood pool on the outside of the house. Russell calls the ballistic analyst Xiomara Garcia to help the investigation. Out of the blue, FBI agents Matthew Pratt and Viggo McQuaid arrive at the CSI office to help the investigation and the team learns that one hundred and forty-five dangerous weapons have been brought to the USA. The CSI suspects of the military private company Ceressus Logistics.

"Zippered" is an episode of "CSI", with the CSI and the FBI working together. There is a sexual tension between Catherine Willows and Agent Viggo McQuaid while they are working together and I question where Louis Vartann is. The murder is well-resolved, as usual, and the friction between the CSI and the FBI agents is the same cliché, but resolved by the free-spirited Diebenkorn 'D. B.' Russell. My vote is seven.

Why bother with trying to have realism
alexandriarch18 May 2022
Good Grief There's a point in this episode which is straight out of a Marvel or Bruce Willis movie where Catherine blindly shoots a guy from inside a truck while it is being peppered with automatic gun fire.

What is the point of trying to make this show realistic, if you're just going to award super powers & plot armour?
