This might not be one of the best or worst episodes of this seasons, but it has some interesting shifts regarding characters development. thus, i have some takes on it
for starters, The teen party scene is really tired. A big show like CM shouldn't play on clichés to establish horror, especially, when the scene adds nothing to to the plot. in fact, when the viewer predict what's going to happen next, the terror element becomes weak and somehow eye rolling worthy
Another thing is the ''homosexuality plot", i thought that was really interesting, at first, the show prepare us to think about sexual orientation related crimes; which is really intriguing since it has never been used before in the show. when they eliminated that possibility, things started to become more boring and predictable At last, this episode really palyed a huge part in character development. which is fun. the show usually ignore the characters background and it doesn't give us enough to dive in their out of work life. however, i think that Hotchner's love interest doesn't quit suit him. the girl is way too bubbly for him, she doesn't fit him quit well. but i guess opposutes attract lol. then the J.J scene, that was a major addition in jj's character, u can see how much she developed from the earlier seasons and im really living for it .. U GO GIRL
note : i didn't really feel bad for the unsub's best friend death, i thought he kinda deserved it . i must be a sociopath lol
