(S2. E2) My Live Reaction / Review for Heels Season 2 Episode 2 ''The Journey Is the Obstacle''. Episode 1 was good and I gave it a rating of 8/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. Wild Bill has a new girlfriend, they are a cute couple. Where the hell is apocalypse? I don't see him anywhere? Did he leave the DWL? Jack's marriage keeps falling apart, it's sad to watch. Ace thinks that leaving everyone behind and going camping is the logical thing to do? So weird. Ace can be very dumb at times, I wouldnt be surprised if he burns the entire forest by accident. The match with Bill, Jack and Crystal was disappointing, having a woman wrestler against two men and she wins? Come on, that's ridiculous. At least the crowd liked it... Ace really needs to come back, the show is just not the same without him. Ace fell off the cliff? What the hell? Second season so far it's not as good as the first. Overall this episode was ''ok'', my rating is 7/10.

The show Heels has taken a disappointing turn with its portrayal of now feminism, as it has veered away from the original storyline and instead focused on the gender in wrestling. It is baffling why the writers decided to put the one championship they have full of male wrestlers in the hands of the Crystal, as this makes no sense.

Create a woman division if you want this. Credibility is lost. You can't take Jack or anyone else losing to her seriously now. Dispensing disbelief doesn't mean losing logic in the process.

It almost seems as if the writers are attempting to force a certain worldview on the viewers, despite the show's original purpose of providing entertainment and not promoting a social agenda.

I was really digging this show and feared it was heading this way. Unreal.
