Finally there's a film from this country that makes it big, guess they beat me to it.
who would have guessed that puppets would be responsible for such a momentous achievement, or rather its creators at Lexo TV. They have highly impressed me and just about anyone who watch the movie.
so without trying to spoil anything, the movie follows after the popular series of shorts following Santana, all the other great characters we know and all the drama that goes along with them. Santana is not at his best, loneliness and all. he seeks to comfort himself by trying to have a little fun and ignore his situation. mean while trouble is brewing involving weddings some old lovers being double crossed, killers and lots and lots of bacchanal .
To begin with this movie impressed me at how character based it is. at the beginning of the film they are superbly descriptive in outlining all the characters so that even a new comer to the franchise get it to the full extent of what each character is about, and many of them being easy to relate to people in general. Quirks gestures mannerisms all unique to each individual, questions are posed to these characters from beginning to end of the film and it keeps the interest going throughout, every scene every dialog advances the films story and keeps the audiences mind racing. this may sound to good to be true folks but believe it. The plot is almost as thick as its well developed characters. though very basic, it take many turns to make it just as interesting.
The production value of the film was fair given the circumstances of the film industry here ( though thats about to change now i presume). for the cinematically inclined there are some rules broken in its screen language and sum "jarring" cuts . The editing had very minimal pacing errors and some choppy audio but all together is made up for with the great story. All in all , see this movie i endorse it , it will be worth your time and money.
