"Nepo Bookies" had some good moments and some bad ones, but overall this show continues to be a pretty enjoyable comedy. I feel like they funeral scenes were a little too long, although we always get something like this on Chuck Lorre shows as we saw in both Two and a Half Men and The Kominsky Method.
Some laughs, some headscratching moments. I do like the insane notion of these people reasonably sitting down over drinks and discussion about million dollar books and negotiating vig fees. That kind of absurdism will be missed when we no longer have these kinds of shows and the fellow HBO series Barry on anymore.
