"Road Trip and Guilt Trip" had a few laughs in it, but for the most part felt really thrown together at the last minute. It did not seem like a particularly coherent story and we did not even see much of the rest of the family outside of Dan and Jackie. Usually that is not a big issue, but I think we could have benefited from some other storylines tonight.
This just seemed like Dan and Jackie fighting just because this series and franchise knows it can turn to the two veterans to deliver, but the story felt very weak. Disappointing considering we are coming down the wire as season five prepares to wrap.
