Poor Ruzek

Adam is not my favourite character. I have always felt he could easily turn into a dishonest cop but him having to put up with Kim earns him some points. I'm glad I'm not the only one who is a bit irritated with her based on other reviews. How this case became about her is puzzling. She was shot in the gut, these people were tortured and stabbed in the gut repeatedly. It has nothing to do with her yet she took it on like it was about her. She has always been a little too self rightous.

The case was a good one and they continue to distract from the sex trafficking case. I hope that one has a big momentous conclusion.

"Under the Skin"

Warning: Spoilers
A break from the sex trafficking storyline, as the Intelligence squad end up on the trail of a serial killer. This after being handed the case by Chief Kelly, who is doing whatever he can - and making no apologies - to keep Voight and the team away from Sean Kelly. I can't wait to see how that turns out...

Anyway, the case allows Burgess some screen time to remember her shooting, which is well-overdue. Marina Squerciati, as ever, was brilliant. Thought Patrick Flueger did a great job as the supportive Ruzek as well. "Burzek" is alive and well.

The Burgess/Upton partnership is one that I think writers should expand on. They've always been good when working together.

Torres is really fitting in well, making us - well, me, anyway - forget about Halstead's departure, at least to a point.

Favorite scene with

Detective Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) - She and Kim Going to an Abandoned Cabin in Wisconsin Re: Sean.

Officer Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) - Purple Flowers, A Creepy Shrine, An Underground Tunnel, and Dead Bodies.

Sergeant Trudy Platt (Amy Morton) - Her Scenes.

Chicago P. D. is Back and it Rocked!!!

My Mom got me Hooked on this Show! I usually don't Review TV Shows. But the Chicago Series is now my Ultimate Favorite Series! Watching Last Season's Reruns got me through the Long, Hot Summer and Really Helped me through some things.

I Love Every Single Actor and Their Character!

Warning: Spoilers
Case was ok, getting out of the sean arc for a bit..

did not understand the focus on burgees.. just because she got a similar injury... she relates to the case? Wat? She got shot and the victims of the case got knifed.... ..

and notice when she was talking to the brother... 2 things get her alive: her kid and that someone would save her... no adam... like chris rock said.. only women, kids and dogs are loved unconditionally.. men dont

every time it is a case focused on kim, she always treats adam badly.. even tho he does nothing bad, he does not force himself to solve the problem but still, she does not show respect to him.. the father of her kid..

anyway, she forgot her gun? LOL so adam has to go inside by himself.

That was a major screw up.. but wait, she does not have a backup? Oh, plot reasons..

her going down the stairs.. remembered upham scene on saving private ryan.. still made no sense her having PTSD outta the blue..

so she got nothing outta that situation? Nothing from voight.. nothing? She left her partner in danger... anyway.. nevermind..
