The Flame Thrower.

This series always suffered from a great story concept being poorly executed. This episode is perfect example with bad writing & no clue of physics. I'm trying to avoid any spoilers so I will just say, "Engine coolant isn't flammable". It's mostly water.

There have been so many logic errors throughout this series that it is board line unwatchable. Just as the story gets interesting, broken logic or incorrect physics will suck you out of the story and remind that this show is truly just low budget trash with bad acting from many of the senior actors.

I don't think anyone should write or direct a sci-fi series (or movie) without at least a high school level understanding of science.

Engine Coolant is flammable

Lots to things to nitpick about in this series. But, it is a fictious story about time travel. Despite what has been previously posted, engine coolant is indeed flammable, if enough of the water in the coolant (via boiling or evaporation) is removed. Maybe the writers simply didn't include this bit of information to save time.

Clearly the show is a fairly low budget production and did not employ someone to address all the scientific facts. Sometimes one has to simply let and enjoy the spirit of a show. Especially one that falls within the Science-FICTION genre.

The flimsy scripts and awkward story telling are very likely the series has ended with a short season 3.
