Finally this tiresome arc is over!
A_Voice4 December 2013
An average episode. The story drags forward as D-Squad encounters one more problem. They certainly have the affinity to get into unusual problems.

There is nothing much to offer. But a the cliffhanger or the unusual or sudden appearance of a Jedi Star ship out of no where is explained. I suppose the plan the D Squad was formed to prevent, has already commenced, and they somehow get caught within it(maybe). The strange part is, Jedi council who sent the droids on an important mission does not seem to care about it at all. Also there is a lack of character development. Droids are loved as they are humans and clones are sacrificed as they are droids.

Only redeeming factor is the CGI and Oscar quality sound effects. Animation is top notch, specially the blast scene.

Direction: Average.

Script/Story: Weak.

Music: Good.

An arc which can be skipped on a whole, nothing special or gripping about it.

Big Bang

This finally ends the arc about 'D Squad'. The annoying Colonel, daft 'Cyclops' sidekick and silly humour was an unwelcome and pointless chapter but at least the last 2 episodes of the arc were much better than the first 2.

This episode features the droids finding themselves on a captured Republic ship that has been turned into a flying bomb on course to destroy the Jedi Council.

There is still silly humour and disregard for usual standards of logic or seriousness but there is at least some drama and tense action at times.

The animation is fabulous as usual and the explosion is very impressive.

My rating: 7/10.

Pretty Good

It was rather good, as someone stated earlier you /could/ skip this arc as a whole, however there are some characters in the ARC who make later appearances in the Star Wars Universe who make their debut here.

Music was lovely, fitting for the mood.

Acting was astounding, characters fit very well.

7 Prometheus Black Goo out of 10 Prometheus Black goo.

It's finally over!

This wasn't the worst arc in the Clone Wars for me, but I was glad when it finally ended. The last two parts are arguably the better of these four. I don't know, this was pretty entertaining, and the animation and sound work are excellent. But I hope there aren't any more droid episodes.
