This episode was quite explosive especially in terms of Alicia which finally gave Margulies the material she has always deserved on the show. The episode was quite interesting seeing Carey and Alicia go up against Diane and Will in the fake trial which did provide some laughs from the actress but also some great drama as we saw Alicia get her drive back and not let anyone come in her way. While most of the memorable parts of the episode were the scenes involving Alicia also the other half of the story which was Elsbeth and Eli together as they go up against guest stars Josh (Kyle MacLachlan) and David La Guardia (Hamish Linklater). Preston has mastered this role so much doing such great comedy and drama and seeing her go up against the challenge of Josh just added even more enjoyment to her character. Back to the A story and maybe my problem was the kiss between Will and Alicia but I expected it when the tension between the care was high, however her after reaction was just perfect as she walked away questioning what she had just done. Elsbeth turning the tables at the end was a great ending to the story. Great episode overall showing how underrated the show is and how it's the best network drama on television showing such great performances by guest actors and the main cast. Alicia accepting the partnership may have been a mistake showing how she really is like everyone wanting to get ahead in life even throwing her friends under the bus. Margulies stood out the most in the episode and she has such an amazing tape in this episode.
