The writers of the show are absolutely amazing! My interest is peaked even more. Elijah Stone arc keeps me interested, but so does Bradford and Chen. Despite it being a crossover episode with the Feds, I still enjoyed it very much. The Rookie became one of the shows I watched for fun, but then I got hooked. I eventually got my little sister to watch it with me and she's hooked. Now everybody thinks, its just the writers low on ideas. But, its them trying to close a terrible chapter in Angela's and Wesley's life. The Rookie is amazing! I would hate to see it end. Waiting for the episodes is a pain but I love the show enough to wait.

It's been a thing in TV series for the last many years to serialize even procedurals, and the writers for The Rookie have fallen into that trap. Here, we're just exhausted by this stupid Elijah Stone arc. It's just one unbelievable thing after another, and this episode was more of the same.
At least there were a few amusing moments in the show to keep our interest, and that's why we keep watching now ... for those tidbits ... even though one of them was also unbelievable ... a father thinking his young son could hack a computer in the police station and erase traffic tickets.
The worst part? Another "crossover" to the dreadful Feds series.

I started watching this in 2018 and it's one of the best tv shows around. Great characters and interesting plots & story lines.
But dear Lord....the introduction of Celina Juarez as a character is such a miss! She is annoying, whinny, wet a lettuce and surplus to the show. Why have a subplot about her dead sister????? It adds nothing to the story.
I'm hanging on and continuing watching only because of the rest of the strong cast. The chemistry between everyone else is great and the humour is good.
I hope they write off her character sooner rather than later, and if they don't - it's criminal!!!
