"Millie and Jerry" is a wonderfully warm heartfelt story. A Felliniesque film about a man who has suffered a stroke. The images are beautiful, colorful and surreal. They are shot on film...reminiscent of a previous time. Using images, music and selective ambient sounds, the film draws you into the lives of its central characters. They are "real" people, not actors. Jerry has really suffered a stroke. His feelings are communicated without words, symbolic of the manner a stroke victim who has lost the ability to speak, must communicate. This uplifting story is a journey back in time, where anything is possible...
