Warning: Spoilers
This season started off with a lot of promise, with a good time jump and addressing some poignant political and social issues.

But now they are just going off the rails with Paul Marx being an absolute caricature of a person and continuing to act like Januarty 6th is the worst thing of all time.

I am not sure what the end game is and if anyone will actually meet their maker. I guess that is one good thing the show has going for it, but episodes like this just seem to drag and drag and not really accomplish anything.

I hope the acting is enough to save some of the bad scripts as the season winds down, but time will tell.

Apple is the best streaming service

The Morning Show Season 3 Episode 8, "DNF," revolves around the revelation that Alex and Paul are together, causing significant personal and professional crises. Despite this, Alex has been surprisingly mature and mellow, helping manage the Cybil Reynolds debacle and delivering a successful streaming, magazine-style interview show. This episode delivers on her overdue for a meltdown, showcasing her resilience and determination in the face of personal and professional challenges. The show "The Bachelor" has been criticized for its aggressive judgment towards Cory's relationship with Paul, a billionaire. The show's viewers seem to have different opinions on the relationship, handling it, and the presentation of her interview with Paul. The show's behavior is often criticized for its lack of openness to personal life, with no one asking about Cory's happiness or happiness. The conversation between Cory and Chip about Alex and Paul's interview and the possibility of sex afterward is considered inappropriate, as it is not a common discussion on the show. While Paul is a wealthy and potentially unkind person, the aggressiveness of the judgment is off-putting, especially when it is suggested that Cory may have slept with Bradley. The show's behavior has been criticized for its lack of openness to personal life and the aggressiveness of its judgment. The show explores the influence of billionaires like Paul on legacy media companies, gaining significant influence over news. Alex, a journalist, is concerned about Paul's influence on journalists but is not ready to hear it. She is upset about Paul leaving her with a replacement guest he didn't thoroughly vet or support her through. Alex decides to fire Chip, who chose to tell her he didn't have COVID when he came to stay with her last season. Alex heads home for a heart-to-heart with Paul about her crappy week, including awkward photoshoots, excessive drinking, and a Hyperion-related disaster. They bond over the situation and Paul suggests selling the company for parts instead of investing in it. This would provide him with a cash influx for his space projects and allow Alex to build a new, lean news-focused organization from UBA's ashes. The show provides little insight into Paul's character, making it difficult to determine whether he is scheming for his own benefit or genuinely trying to help. In all fairness, it could go either way. Paul Marks is unlikely to be present in Season 4 if Bradley Jackson is not involved. Tipped off by Stella, she is trying to contact Kate Danton, who was recently fired by Marks. Despite following clues to clandestine meetings, she has not made progress. Laura is struggling to understand why her girlfriend spent the day with Cory Ellison and his mother, and starts digging through emails and texts released in the UBA hack to find out if anything salacious ever happened between her current girlfriend and her ex-boss. Laura's secret is about to come out, and she may want to hurry up with this task. Laura discovers a significant amount of information about Hal's involvement in January 6, Bradley's editing of footage, the FBI subpoena, and Cory's involvement. She wonders if she can turn Bradley in and potentially bring down UBA, despite Paul Marks' hidden secrets. Laura's wild conjecture and rapid mathematics help her understand the situation.

Tired of the politics and unlikable characters
jjblake-044146 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I really enjoyed the first season and the second was okay, but not nearly as good. However, the third season should be the last. The characters are whiny, unlikable, and entitled narcissists. Every good story needs to have a protagonist to root for but none of these storylines have characters that viewers can even remotely empathize with. The storyline and writing has deteriorated. Unfortunately, there is no creativity, the "F" word is overused, and political issues are presented in the one-sided narrative that is common in media. I had high hopes that this show would regain the edge that it started with in the first season. Regretfully, it has not.

Weak, and the music was bad
hephaiston26 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This acquisition plotline is making less and less sense. Why would Paul need to send his weird minion find valuation data on UBA's various assets? He has all that from due diligence! You would think people at Apple, which buys companies all the time, would know that. Also the music is getting worse and worse on this show. Too many song interludes, with singing on top of top dialogue, capped off at the end by the worst cover of a great Bruce Springsteen song, by some group named Biz Coletti. Awful voice, awful arrangement, all very annoying. I hope the series doesn't keep going downhill like that.
