Really Dislike The FBI vs NYPD Turfwar
shelbythuylinh25 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
As really what was the FBI show thinking. After guest star Billy Campbell as an old friend of Jubal's at the NYPD before the latter went FBI as really the cop had his wife dying of cancer.

With in the Jubal focused on it and how he is front and center. And when a trucker gets killed across the Canadian border and since it crossed state and country lines even, it is federal jurisdiction.

Both Jubal and Campbell's character, a first grade NYPD detective as both try to catch up on old times. But Campbell's character is racist to OA due to him being a Muslim Egyptian American FBI agent.

Also glad that OA got some time but the others were phased out, in particular my least favorite, Stu. Campbell in the seeing if he could get away with it back in 2001 when 9/11 hits and how that for so long as two suspects confirmed what Campbell's cop did.

He wanted to end one of the two suspects lives to keep his secret buried. Jubal did the right thing but that he really lost a friend. As an recovering alcoholic, he shouldn't had been in the bar with his former soon to be friend cop buddy.

STOP with all the liberal messaging already
JVIRT995 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Been watching FBI in reruns on ION-TV and have caught just about every episode. I think its developing into a good action series, with some good characters. When it sticks to storylines that don't go into political messaging. Its great when the good guys get the bad guys. Just don't like the self righteous indignation that sometimes gets injected into parts of some episodes. Inserting identity politics and political correctness is a loser.

In this episode, "Sins of the Past", we get a decent storyline that is ruined by an ending which vilifies an honored member of the NYPD. Probably made some folks cheer that another dirty cop was taken off the streets. Not to mention, by his former partner who wore a wire to record his ex-partners guilt, All while the cops wife is dying of cancer.

The event in question took place just after 911. Just after 3000 people were murdered in the worst attack on US soil in history. The moral equivalence in this case was as usual, a total fallacy.

Disappointing ending
tknc19 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Why disparage an NYPD officer at the end of this episode? What was the point. It's really hard to believe that one good friend would turn on another after serving together after 9/11. And to add insult to injury, the officer's wife's is dying of cancer. Of course, there was overreaction after 9/11 but to say a cop dangled and dropped a man off the roof with no evidence that he was a terrorist is very far fetched. It's an attempt at revisionist history. It also seemed like it was an unnecessary subplot to the main story. Maybe we should have a refresher course for screenwriters on what the country was like shortly after the towers fell.

Enough of Jubal already!
Bingleyfan20 April 2023
We've been watching FBI since the beginning and while it improved with time this season has really gotten on my nerves! As others reviewers have already mentioned many many times, the music is way too loud and overpowers the dialogue almost the whole episode!

And while we liked Jeremy Sisto in the original Law and Order, his character is getting beyond irritating. While he's always shouted from the beginning all of a sudden this season he's the hero of almost every storyline! Is he a field agent or an office guy? Is he an undercover cop or what?! All the other agents seem to take a back seat to him and after several years of this show why now? He is way too emotional for the job he has as my review states, enough already!!!!
