Live Reaction / Review for Superman and Lois Season 3 Episode 9: I hope this episode is as good, i really do. Also I hope that this episode is more Superman-centric than the previous ones. Lois' cancer is getting better? Now that's some good news. Im glad Lois is feeling better. I think it's a matter of time before Lana and John are a thing. So Mannheim sent one of his ''creatures'' after John, I didn't expect that. Also i didn't expect that John would kill the man. I think John has been losing control lately. The action scenes were good but it didn't last even 2 minutes, why why why. I guess the budget is close to zero? Seems like it. I like how the episode ends with Clark and Lois flying. Overall it's a good episode, just not great. My rating is 7.5/10.

John Henry

I feel like John Henry and Nat anchored this episode. John is vulnerable much more than we tend to recall. He watched his lowest die in front of his eyes. He lost his entire planet and thought he lost his daughter. Now he's watching this Lois deal with a life-threatening illness. He mentioned a few episodes ago that it bothered him more than he was willing to allow himself to feel. I think that is very telling for the journey. His character is on, he has faced Bruno more than anyone else, and understands the brutality they are facing. I am reminded of just how brutal Bruno's wife was when she attacked John and Lana. Don't forget Bruno also killed the John Irons of this world. I think the other characters are missing out on this deeper perspective the John sees.

Wonderful!

This was a really great episode.

The love between Lois and Clark and the very relatable feelings they have in their current situation were very well done. And then, the plot about John Henry was great two because it shows how human he is, how scared he is for your daughter and "sister". The man lost his entire planet, his wife, everything but Nat And all the young generation did good things too. I am liking the acting chemistry between Jordan and the new Jon.

Kudos for the writers of this episode and making this a truly memorable one. I think it is the best of the series and one of the best in the Berlanti-verse.

Arguably the best episode of the series...

Warning: Spoilers
This show proves you don't need big action to make a great superhero show. This show relishes in the deep emotion and heart of its engaging and compelling characters. Giving us flashbacks of Clark and Lois helps pinpoint to why her current condition is so devastating and why that gorgeous red dress reminders of what she is about to lose. This show easily could have given Lois something krytonian to end the cancer plot line but they are taking such a grounded realistic approach to it and it couldn't be more refreshing. Beautiful ended with a touching scene. Clarks boy-scout honor and warmth is on heavy display here. Even when he's slightly out of tune, he's quick to understand and empathize. Even hearing Jon's perspective on her treatment is heartbreaking. I like the development for John Henry in this episode, it leaves me interested to see the future of his character. This show is just too good! Great episode. Don't sleep on it because it's CW.
