American Dad has been in a bit of a down period as of late, but this episode sort of felt true to the vibe. Over the top and cartoonish villains and Roger sending Francine down a very unfortunate path. That is all you need to have a good show, and as a sad gambler the poker element definitely rang true.
I feel like we needed something more from Stan here than just being obsessed with his new money and fur coats, but what can you do?
Considering some of the bad episodes we have gotten as of late from this show I will take a half hour like this that is actually entertaining and makes me chuckle.
