The Josh and Amber storyline on this is patently absurd.Not only the rather twee and bland romance but the way their parents act like they're straight out of the 1950s and treat the prospect of two seventeen-year-olds having sex as if it's the end of civilisation.Brad is the only one talking a modicum of sense but we're probably meant to disagree with him, whereas Matt decides to revert to neanderthal type, Lauren starts off well but soon gets sanctimonious and Terese, like the viewer, can't take it seriously.
The resolution of Paul and Georgia's storyline is somewhat disappointing.We're presumably meant to be cheering when Paul lets Georgia off the hook, even though she was in the wrong.The death of Jack Lassiter is a rather weak plot device to facilitate Paul's abrupt change of mood.Plus the introduction of Gemma, who seems a bit crazy.
