At least, Arlo moves into the apartment in this second episode. Accidentally, Matty goes over the voice tape of his adoptive mother and forces her play's understudy to do another voice over. Comically, her voice isn't the same as the adoptive mother and she even says the wrong words. This understudy is something else and with Michael Richards uncovering the dirt on her, she goes along with the scheme.
Matty allows for Michael to make dinner but soon forgets all about that when a good-looking sports player comes along and takes her out instead for the evening.
Matty finally comes down to earth and eats the meal that her son had cooked for her.
