- Anna suffers from asthma, hence coughing and collapsing earlier.
- Anna trips and falls down some stairs, but never gets hurt.

- Marnie throws a bed sheet over an old lady, and locks her in a room.
- Anna tells Marnie about her parents having died.
- Marnie tells Anna about how the twin maids loved to scare her when she was a child, and how the nanny and the maids threatened to locked her up in a silo. She also tells Anna about how the nanny used to yank her arm and brushed her hair hard.

- There are several scenes in which Anna suffers from asthma.
- The scene in the silo is quite disturbing.
- Some of Marnie's flashbacks tend to have some dramatic parts.

Violence & Gore
- When an old lady tells Anna a sad story, there are multiple flashbacks. A man had died due to an illness. A girl and her mother quarrel. A girl and a boy had been killed in a car accident. Also, Anna gets to know that Marnie as an old woman had died several years ago.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- There is a scene in which Anna describes herself as "Ugly, stupid, moody and unpleasant", before dropping to the floor crying.
- The ending sequence, beginning with an old lady telling Anna the truth about Marnie, is pretty emotional and very moving.
