"It plays like love" centers around a married couple of two actors, who experience some difficulties within their relationship and get cast for the same theatre play. In it, they recreate the dialogues of the director's recently lost love and thus get confronted with each other again.

I really liked the concept of mixing the actual movie with interviews reflecting on the general nature of love and relationships. At first it seemed a bit unrelated but after a while you notice how those two elements add to each other and make it a better film. Unfortunately, there are so many relationships reflected on in this movie that it is quite hard to keep track of which one is under debate in this particular moment sometimes, which makes it partially hard to follow the plot. However the producers managed to create a love movie without drowning in kitsch.

All in all this is an interesting approach that more people should see, a rather quiet movie with a lot of useful thoughts about relationships, trust and love.
