A man is in awe of his little girl ,Lois ,whom he spoils .They spend an afternoon on the town where he takes her to a candy store where she stuffs herself with sweets ,lollipops,and barley sugar;the shop assistant is wise :" you should eat fruit instead, you're going to put on weight".
Her father buys her a Cinderella dress and Lois thinks she has become a princess,were it for one day ;on the merry-go-round ,she begins to realize that plump girls are not made to be princesses ;she hardly find a place on the carousel "you're gonna crush it" says a girl ,when she wants to sit in the coach ; her father sees her humiliation, and shouts "press the button!" ;then she soars over everyone and is taken to imaginary heights.
It does not fool the audience ; it's a cruel fairytale ,in which frog princesses do not marry princes.
