Did I just watch the same movie as the rest of these reviewers? They ruined a good idea with terrible acting, and the pace is excruciatingly slow. What's.. with.. all.. the.. pausing.. between.. words for dramatic effect? People don't converse that way in reality. How did this get two stars when every review on here is a six or better? Interesting little piece

Knowing there would be a twist reveal, I was watching for the clues, wanting to puzzle it out myself. I enjoyed the ride along the way, and some of the characters had surprising actions.
No really superb performances or anything, but the story was intriguing enough to make it at least worth the watch.

A little gem hidden away

I stumbled across this movie and was pleasantly surprised.
The black humour was well written and had me quietly smirking to myself.
At times the budget showed as the "effects" were not quite what I want from my horror/thriller but it was never sold as a A budget movie.
Well worth a watch and I hope to see more from this team.

true horror

Sometimes a movie comes along that surprises you in a good way and this was one of those films. I loved that some of the scary scenes were shot during the day and the night time scenes had a sinister vibe that definitely creeps me out. The actors did a great job and the low key pacing worked well with the story and scares. Watch this one at 3 AM kids!! 10/10
Well worth watching!

A frightfest gem that deserves to be watched!

I was at london frightfest 2019 last year and to see a film that didnt just go down the road of basic horror thrills for the sake of it was fantastic. This is a film that decides to do things differently. It has thriller, horror and comedy elements, within a chlostrophobic environment. I saw its coming out in the UK soon and excited to watch it again.
For someone that isnt that into horrors, i felt it kept me hooked with twists and didnt always fall into that genre, it made me laugh as well as jump!
An original idea, executed well.

Very dark. Very funny. Very good.
I saw this film last year knowing literally nothing about it and loved it for a ton of reasons. It's smart, surprising and kinda fun!
Don't be put off by the lack of "names", the performances are top notch which is astonishing considering how quickly they filmed it.
The plot goes like a rocket, the dialogue is pacy and there's pitch black humour aplenty.
The production values are pretty high and as far as first features go, this ones a belter.
Give it a go, you won't regret it, although I should add, it's not for the faint of heart!
Brilliant, funny and clever

I first saw Criminal Audition at the Frightfest in 2019 and was delighted to learn that it has now been released in the UK as well as USA, Canada and other countries. I found it to be a clever film with a great script (Luke Kaile and Samuel Gridley are the writers) with plenty of gore and scary bits, yet still extremely humorous. The characters are intriguing, my favourites being Moe (Scott Samain) Ryan (Luke Kaile) and the sinister Ms M (Noeleen Comiskey) It has a great pacy plot and is definitely worth watching. Highly recommended.
Well worth the watch

Criminal Audition is criminally good!

Criminal Audition is a movie that keeps you locked in with the tension constantly building throughout the length of the film. The script is sharp and the acting is strong with great performances from all the cast. Director Samuel Gridley perfectly captures the claustrophobic setting and feeling, and the final result is a great film that showcases the great writing talents of Kaile and Gridley.
One to watch

Twisted Sister

Warning: Spoilers
This is a dark twisted comedy where you don't see it coming. William (Rich Keeble ) is a lawyer who runs a company that offers closure to the family of victims of unsolved crimes. They pay and coach a person to confess to a crime and plant incriminating evidence. William and his two associates are interviewing three candidates when the client shows up and starts to run things on her own contrary to William's set procedure.
It was an interesting film that takes a number of twists at the end. Well done to Rich Keeble and Samuel Gridley. If you liked Sean Pertwee's "Four" ( I think i am the only one who saw it and liked it) then this one should be in your wheelhouse.
Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.
