Great, edgy film

I was lucky enough to see an advanced screening of, The Temptation Game and I really enjoyed it.

It was reminiscent of Last Tango in Paris, in the way that it explored intimacy in a psychological way.

The script and directing was very tight and it really made me feel that I was a fly on the wall in this couple's relationship.

I enjoyed the performances, especially that of Jessica Graham - who's screen presence and performance was both vulnerable and lovely.

Excellent work from this first time director Charline Odiot! I look forward to more films from her.

Also, clear to see the influence and help from visionary and generous producer/director/writer Michael Sibay.

It's no wonder that it has been getting such critical success!

Stylish, erotic and captivating.

It's amazing what you can do in less than 13 minutes with just two actors, a small apartment and a few black and white film posters in the background. The Temptation Game is a stylish, erotic and intelligent portrayal of a married couple playing a game that can have no real winners. Will Laura lose by winning? Will Charlie stand a chance of escaping the cobweb set for him by Laura? I enjoyed this movie thoroughly and felt intrigued and captivated from the simple opening scene of the red apples in the mostly black and white backdrop, to the complex closing scene of an ironic ending. I can't wait to see the next collaboration of Charline Odiot and Michael Sibay. They seem to have a knack for creating some big magic tricks with a small deck of cards. A full feature perhaps?

Sexy, provocative and intriguing

I really liked "The Temptation Game." It was well-acted, well-shot and well-written.

The content is quite sophisticated and mature - it reminded me of David Mamet's work because it constantly plays with your expectations. It generates a tremendous amount of ambiguity in terms of the relationship between the two main characters (the couple) and how they are really related to each other and WHY they are interacting in this manner at this time.

This short is a wonderful debut and I'm sure it will do very well with audiences on the international festival circuit. It would be interesting to talk with the filmmakers and the actors and probe further their intentions with this piece.

Interesting Short

Interesting short; only 14 minutes.

Wonderful opening music.

Husband caught in a Catch 22 by his wife. What can he do? Either way, he loses. Either he rejects his wife, or proves his infidelity to her.

A theme infrequently presented on the screen, but so very real. Very intriguing. And true!

This is by the same filmmaker, Michael Sibay, that made that incredibly interesting film a number of years ago: "A woman, her man,and her futon," another film dealing with psychological issues between the sexes.

I've enjoyed "The Temptation Game" a lot. The title couldn't be better to express the main idea of this beautifully shot short film.

It's not easy to deliver intimate things and make people understand what you mean without saying it directly. Charline Odiot seems to feel confident enough to try and succeed in it. This psychological drama is fraught with shades of feelings and nuances of moods, which is great.

The performances are pretty solid. And Jessica Graham, being a very beautiful woman and talented actress, is a perfect cast.

The tone of the movie is charming and the dialogue flows smoothly.

I wan't to watch it again. Excellent work!!!
