This is a very interesting documentary, if looking little dated now. It tells the story of a very good radio program where guests tell a little about their lives and also choose some songs. I hadn't realised Roy Plomley devised the program - he was hoping for six episodes and it's lasted a lot longer than that. The only negative is the very strange scene with an Esme Canon lookalike screeching an opera aria. No explanation for it and a little unnecessary
