Chips Start to Fall
Hitchcoc26 October 2016
Billy starts to put the pieces together. When his client is murdered by a hit and run driver, he realizes that his life and the lives of others are in danger. The mega-corp is behind this and he is considered dangerous to them. His ex still works for them and is pretty clueless as to how ruthless they are. Billy is like a rabid dog now, because he feels he has nothing to lose. Meanwhile, he has to convince a judge to allow his case to continue. He uses threats to get witnesses to cooperate and the son of the murdered man to engage in some fairly convoluted methods. The judge is a strange entity. Is he an ambitious pawn or just strict arbiter. The evil boss played by William Hurt who endlessly clicks something when he is trying to intimidate people is a great villain. More after four.

The Great Game is On!
lavatch21 April 2017
Warning: Spoilers
In this episode, the apparently corrupt judge allows Billy McBride's case to go through in the inquiry into a wrongful death.

One of the surprising new characters developed in this episode is the young ninth-grade son of the deceased, who believes his father did not commit suicide and wants to participate in Billy's legal case.

When the litigants meet in the private chambers of the judge known as "The Gnome," the strange ruling is to present the evidence privately in an "expedited" special case! Billy is successful in providing three crucial pieces of evidence: (1) the eyewitness testimony of a crew member on a nearby boat who witnessed an enormous explosion that undercuts the theory of suicide; (2) film footage of the explosion; and (3) expert testimony that points to debris from the explosion coming from a Borns Tech top secret project of weapons of mass destruction.

The two attorneys representing Borns Tech are uncharacteristically silent in response to the evidence!

Great Plot Development
DKosty1234 August 2018
Warning: Spoilers
How do you top killing Billy's Client getting murdered in the last episode by the evil forces of a sinister corporation? Well this episode does it. It does a great job of leading Billy into his now dead clients case with both feet and his brain which has to start working overtime. After getting to know his now dead client really well, he picks up the pieces of his now nearly dead case.

Cooperman is desperately trying to get this case dismissed to shove Billy out of the way like an insect. After meeting his clients son, Billy gets more resolve for this not to happen. Meanwhile at Cooperman's office, it seems Billy's Ex is getting approached by someone unexpected in a physical way. Cooperman is starting to go after a young lawyer in his office and plots to make her the person to beat Billy.

This series is heading more into a different type of series than other legal series. Billy and his team are being drawn into the battle and everyone is at risk with their lives. They have to get onto the offensive to survive.
