Pretty average episode
85122217 June 2017
Greetings from Lithuania.

7th episode of "The Expanse" was a pretty average episode. It was more like a link between previous events and things that will happen. There weren't any action here, it was a dialogue driven episode, and dialog wasn't very involving.

Overall, after the magnificent 5th episode "Home" (best this series has offered), the series now going into interesting direction but not very intriguingly. If there are (and as we saw there are) "things" on that planet - this is for me the driving force of the story so far, they should stick more to that plot line.

Nothing Makes a Dent in the Conflict
Hitchcoc16 January 2020
The first part of this involves the situation that took place on Ganymede. Bobbie is damaged goods right now, trying to piece together what took place, leaving her the lone survivor. It is apparent that she is slowly becoming an unwilling pawn in the game. Since the leadership of all entities are more concerned with their egos (like most of our modern day politicians), than they are with the human elements, whatever is done is selve serving. The guy, leftover from Eros, is also a hot commodity. The problem is that people with the biggest decisions don't know what went on. We also need to go back to the last scene of the previous episode.

Interesting revelations

Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers.

The Expanse's seventh episode in the second season is entitled 'The Seventh Man'. The episode primarily follows Bobbie after the events of the Ganymede battle. The episode further explores the impact of the Ganymede battle and its effects on the Belt.

The Seventh Man is a classic episode from The Expanse. It is highly enjoyable to find that the series has enough depth to explore its own world and impacts from events inside of it. Bobbie was a boring character until this moment and the episode became a nice moment for the character. Events in this episode has a lasting effect on how the character operates and the introduction of these events feels organic. The effects of the season only seem to be getting better and the creators of The Expanse television series should be commended for keeping the production quality up. The television series has a solid foundation. This episode takes its time to develop its world's history.

I would recommend the seventh episode of the second season of The Expanse.

Grade: B.

Transition episode
viwg11 March 2017
Series still operating a transition after previous events. A major player from season 1 comes back in play, lots of political tension while an interesting subplot is being laid out on top of the incident from last episode. The pacing and character building are still much better than in season 1, the drama induced in the crew might seem unnecessary but could as well pay off. Less action but still a very solid episode. 9/10

Mormons are not pacifists you know?
martin-andersson2224 June 2019
Rather the opposite actually. No way in hell you would push the Mormons off one of their holy places without a major war on your hands. No way in hell Mormons would not be armed. No way in hell the Mormons would not have their own war ships on standby. No way in hell the Mormons would not have their own engineers and work crews available. Writing for this show is shallow and lazy.
