When Words Collide (2016)

*** 1/2 (out of 4)

Stephen Thrower is back with another wonderful featurette, this one made for the Lucio Fulci's giallo A LIZARD IN A WOMAN'S SKIN. This clocks in at thirty minutes and has the author discussing the production as well as the film's importance on the genre. Thrower gets to discuss quite a few subjects including mixing Hitchcock into things when it comes to cheating during flashback sequences. Also discussed is the popularity of the film including some of the good reviews that it got in America. Fulci's work in the genre is also discussed and how his giallo films were so much different than what most people know of him from the horror era. If you're a fan of the film, Fulci or even just a fan of Thrower then you'll certainly want to watch this featurette since there's so much great knowledge on display and Thrower is always very pleasant to listen to. He does a very good job at talking about this film as well as the various other giallo films that were out during this era and he really gives you a good understanding of what separated this film.
