An excellent and honest summed up "people's history" - a breadth of perspectives from people who were there, in various roles, as the Web experienced growing pains and came to be what it is today. From moments of elation to moments of pure frustration it is all woven, into a wonderful tapestry that asks not just "what happened" but "what have we learned along the way... and where do we go from here?".
Anyone who loves the Web should watch this. I'm extraordinarily grateful that this, and the related footage/interviews will exist for posterity. It's already amazing for people without a 20 year history of working on the Web to hear, from the mouths of people who were in the trenches at the time, not just what happened, but how and why. In another decade it will be considerably more so. In a few decades most of the people in this film - their stories, struggles, observations and contributions would otherwise be likely lost or forgotten. Here in this documentary, our spirit to move forward will be forever preserved.
