Excellent short

Good acting. Great production values. Crisp logical scene progression, and a surprise ending. What more could you ask for?

A typical horror house movie condensed in 5 minutes

Warning: Spoilers
"Ghost House: A Horror Movie in Real Life" is a pretty long title for a relatively short movie as this one barely makes it past the 6-minute mark and that includes credits already. The writer and director is Ryan Connolly, a prolific short film maker and this one we got here is among his more/most known efforts. It's all about the mystery and horror after a harmless beginning, in which a family moves in their new house. But this house does not come uninhabited. And when you think now the evil spirits kill everybody, we get a bit of an unexpected ending and the only question that stays is if they are possessed or if they are actually themselves for what they do is a pretty daring decision. Up to you to decide. Even if the final shot wasn't too bad and also kinda fresh and unexpected given the genre, everything before that is really too generic I must say. All in all, huge horror film fans can check it out, but everybody else may want to skip it. I give it a thumbs-down as it needs way too long to really get going and shake off the mediocrity. Watch something else instead.
