I dont feel sorry for the boy. Thats the way lives are based on their environment. When the boy offers dices to the lady , we know his love for her. Apparently he can only manage dices from a gambling father in return for the pudding. When he comes down and seems disappointment at the girl with other guy ,He feels missed. And at last you can see he follows what he sees as same gender role model. sounds like life ?
