That What Follows

Warning: Spoilers
This wasn't a standout episode, and yet those final few moments will stick with me. When Nadine saw the cops again and Fish and KJ put the pieces together that it is a cop they are pursuing, that made all the build throughout the last four hours worth it.

This show has me hooked and I love the slow pace, even if others don't.

They're Only Human

Things really begin to steam up in this episode. Pete, of course, is the pivotal character in all this. He's gone from being moral to being immersed in the filth that is that group from the precinct. When the mother remembers a man at the hospital, we know now that it was Pete. He went to see the young man because he was so full of guilt. But she can't be specific when a sketch artist talks with her. We learn more about K. J. and what her issues are. We meet her father who diminish her life choices. She and Fish get closer to the realities of the case. Nadine is brought into the mix and we know now that there is testimony out there for the taking. Lattice is going to be a critical figure from now on, but she has no credibility. Her husband has gone off the rails because of the disruption in his life due to his son's death. It turns out, however, that he has been an absentee in the kid's life forever.

Loved seeing some pieces finally fall into place as the detectives and Latrice start to figure things out. Good acting and character development.

Seven Seconds (2018)

Series

1st Season

Episode Four - O Que Vem Depois

The episodes continue to flow very well for me, now with Nadine it seems like it will flow even more.

Jablonski was already corrupting himself, until it didn't take long.

Nadine recognizing DiAngelo, I hope nothing happens to her, she is very pretty.

KJ always doing wrong things and being impulsive.

Fish is still my favorite character from this miniseries.

Awesome

Continuing my marathon and it was a very good episode. Protect Nadine please. It's good that the investigation is having an effect and that it's being done quickly. Brenton's mother recognizing the police officer who was in the hospital room. Brenton's father is unbearable, he didn't want to say I love you to his son while he was alive and now he keeps brooding and taking it out on his brother and wife. Nadine recognizing DiAngelo was tense. Everyone's performance is wonderful, wanting to see how these corrupt police officers will get away with it. Awesome. Episode four watched on March 13, 2024.
