Enough moments to pause for appreciation
jharding-5758523 December 2021
Great episode for Lip, Fiona, and Frank. Everyone else seemed like filler in comparison.

Lip had a few perfectly written moments of dialogue in the form of speeches that were delivered beautifully.

Fiona's character arch continues to improve, in part because her usual toxic love interest of the week has yet to surface.

Maybe no show stopping plot developments but the episode has enough moments to have you pause and appreciate the writing staff. Although if they were really smart they'd just kill Debbie off...

Episode 806

Warning: Spoilers
Not all of it was perfect, but this was a really well done episode. The comedy was there and the over the top sex scenes were limited. Instead there were a lot of stories of heart and real world struggle from Frank getting laid off to Fiona saving the dog to Brad realizing he is back at the beginning of the process of getting sober again.

Still think this season is lacking something, but this was a good one.
