This episode really sticks in my mind for some reason. It was made six years before the accident that paralyzed Christopher Reeve. It involves a young football player who is paralyzed from the neck down during a game and his vindictive father who wants to punish his coach. There is a lot of finger pointing her over who was really to blame for the terrible tragedy. Are the parents to blame for pushing their children so hard to succeed? Are the coaches to blame for being so "win crazy" at all costs? There are no easy answers. I remember that in the end Judge Franklin gives a wonderful pep talk to the boy who is paralyzed telling him he could still live a happy life.
