The family makes it to Tokyo. DJ steps in as CJ's maid of honour; Steve meet his soon to be in-laws; Max and Rose go to "Hello Kittyland"...but of course all we want to see is how the love triangle between Matt, Steve and DJ will turn out after the mid-season finale ended with DJ telling Steve her secret. Matt does propose while Steve gawks. That is all we care about. The other stories are so meaningless in comparison.
At the wedding, I thought it would have been hilarious if Steve did what Ross Geller did when he got married: "I Steven, take thee DJ." Obviously they didn't want a straight up copycat, but it still would have been funny. Steve did admit the only reason she dated CJ was because she was so much like DJ. The result of the marriage sector is truly heartbreaking. At least there is still hope of DJ and Steve ending up together!
