Brutal & heartbreaking...

Warning: Spoilers
I'm glad the family is Hallow free & can be in the same space. But poor Hope now is a big hot mess. I'm very happy to have Elijah back but that was very sad....gut wrenching. I'm glad Klaus is trying to forgive. I started to cry when the memory river began & continued to cry as he read Hayley's letters. Now that we know Legacies is in the works, I am looking at the shows possible conclusions differently. I hope Klaus has a recurring role so he can be there for Hope as she grows up. Kudos to yet another amazing episode in the series' final season. I'm going to miss the Mikalsons.

I don't know if anyone agrees with me but for me, this is the best the greatest episode of The Originals, and from all the TV shows that I watched.

This is the best episode in the whole show!!! You can truly feel Elijah's pain...Hayley's memories of the day she died where very strong! I even felt the pain with him! Wow I'm speechless! I have seen this episode like 10 times and I never watch something twice!!! Soo sad how it end on the final episode because it really was on the right direction!!!

This episode was the best in this season so far. Had me in tears and trust me that doesn't happen often. I'm glad Elijah got his memories bacl, I've been waiting for that to happen ever since he has lost them. Also glad Hope wasn't in this episode, I don't like her. Elijah acring was pretty good too, I was amazed.

Mikaelson family drama, bloody hell but loved Phoebe's tribute

Warning: Spoilers
I hated that Haley died because I liked her. I thought the season one flirtation with Elijah was cute but I always thought Haley and Jackson made a much better couple and she did love him as did the Mikaelsons as well. It was great how they made a tribute to her because she deserved better. I really liked seeing Klaus and Haley bond and how he realized that he took for granted the opportunities he missed because, well, he's Klaus. I always thought Haley and Klaus made a good team, maybe not a couple but a good team and I will miss her. But, let's not forget that Hope started this and it's sad that she's going through pain but maybe her mother would still be alive if she hadn't thrown a hissy fit like a spoiled brat and do something Klaus like by putting her mother in danger.. The season one flirtation with Haley and Elijah was cute but I didn't like them as a couple especially after Jackson died because I thought Haley and Jackson made a much better couple and Haley did love him and he didn't deserve to die the way he did. I don't know why it is that it is always up to Elijah to "save" all of them all the time. As much as I like the characters, Klaus can sometimes grate on my nerves when he goes with his rage all the time and when he bit Antoinette, I do not get why everyone wanted Elijah to remember his family again after he clearly stated that he didn't want to last season and could be free of all of it. Hell, even Haley wanted to distance herself from him and had a new love interest that even Hope loved or seemed to. I did not see the point of forcing his memories back on him other than to make him suffer. Antoinette seemed so good for him and I think if she had known what her mother was doing with Haley, she would have urged Elijah to help her but instead we get this Klaus and Hope Mikaelson rage fit situation that they both caused. It's sad that Hope is sad, but she caused this situation in the first place, but once again, the Mikaelsons do not want to own up to it. Cole doesn't want to get involved with the family drama and it was nice seeing Cole again. Finn grew to hate his siblings except for Freya and yet this always and forever crap just goes on and on and on. I guess it never occurred to Klaus or any of them to approach Elijah in a different way, explain things to him in a way that was different than Klaus showing up at his bar, try to get Antoinette to leave him by breaking his heart after finding someone who was a good match for him. Maybe it is just me, but I was kind of mad at this episode because it's a never ending cycle of abuse by Klaus usually and now because Hope put her mom in this situation in the first place, Klaus threatening Elijah's new life and love it once again ended in disaster and Elijah once again loses any kind of normalcy to be stuck to his family. It's one thing to love family and always be there for them and another to forsake your entire life when a situation arises that could have been avoided in the first place if it were not for the actions of said family. It pissed me off that Elijah and Antoinette won't be together because she was more of a gentle natured vampire that Elijah could have been happy with.
