Enjoyable interview with two Broadway legends

Warning: Spoilers
Broadway choreographers Bob Fosse and Agnes de Mille talk with engaging candor about the ups and downs of their storied careers in this 32-minute chat show episode. Fosse admits that it's difficult for him to say no to someone at an open casting call and reveals he initially only looks at a dancer's body and movements to access how much training the person has had while de Mille confesses that she relies on assistants when it comes to auditions and points out that you can't always tell from an audition who can actually deliver the goods as a dancer. Moreover, de Mille talks about how she wasn't paid for a lot of her earlier gigs, a sexy stomach dance she did at the start of her career, and how she doesn't like being referred to as a grand old dame of dance. In addition, Fosses makes a great observation that with film you have more control over what an audience pays attention to as well as goes into detail about the Air Erotica sequence in "All That Jazz" and states that he reason he used events from his life as content for the story was because it was an easy thing to do. A delightful program.
