Finally a solid episode, definitely one of the best we've had this season!! A few funny moments with top notch drama! I Can't wait for next week! And I Can't remember the last time I was able to say that about this show

Great Episode

Warning: Spoilers
You can slowly start to see how Fiona is making her exit on the show. Don't know how yet, my guess is rehab? The scene at the end with Lip chewing Fiona out was one of the most memorable. Even Carl, Kelly and Deb looked on in amazement. Great episode none the less and will be a great 3 final episodes to the season

Don't make it a Dexter sized screwup

Although the acting was extraordinary in the episode i couldn't believe what was happening. It was a total screw up against Fiona. She deserves better. Much much better. It's depressing that the siblings couldn't care less about Fiona. If she's leaving the show, this isn't how you should kick her out. Make it believable at least.
What i miss?

Lip is overreacting.
Fiona must slap him & teach him not to be rude to his sister mom.
Lip's attitude makes me angry & feel pity for Fiona.
anyway Gallaeger said ' what i miss' in the end of scene. that's so fun moment kkk

One of the best episodes of television ever.

I avoided starting Shameless for a long time, mostly because the length of the series felt cumbersome to binge.
I decided to finally give it a go while recovering from surgery and 4 weeks later, I'm finishing up season 9 when this episode hits and kicks me in the gut.
Watching Fiona's downfall has been heartbreaking to start, but paired with watching Lip's patriarchal rise and finally finding his purpose is a rollercoaster that I've been on myself. Jeremy Allen White's performance during the climax of this episode was breathtaking and Emmy worthy. The lack of nominations for this role a crime.

Horrible

I think the people giving this show good reviews on here are being paid to or work for the show in some capacity. I used to love this show- it has just gotten progressively worse every season and it is awful right now. Kev and V aren't even part of the Gallagher storyline anymore and Fiona's downward spiral arc was already played out for the entirety of season 4. And the writers have just totally forgotten that Lip was a genius. It is just terrible- don't understand how anyone could give this season good reviews.
Lip is INFURIATING

Warning: Spoilers
I love this show, and I this episode wasn't awful. But the entire way through it was clear this was leading to a very VERY unfair outburst from Lip to Fiona.
When he said 'someone waved a bottle of vodka in his face' I had to pause it. Someone who a) didn't know the guy, b) didn't know he was an addict. This was on top of the DCFS visit, which was again in no way Fiona's fault. When Debbie was having the visit they had the full family in on making sure it seemed safe for Franny, but Lip didn't even MENTION it to Fiona and then has the cheek to be angry at her for it?
I love the drama on the show but it felt so out of character and SO unfair. To me it feels like really really lazy writing - unless in the coming episodes Lip is seriously reprimanded for the way he's treated her.
No doubt they'll forgive each other in the coming episodes, before her exit - but that then makes this feel sort of redundant? I actually felt so angry at the end that I wanted Fiona to just tell him to F himself and leave there and then. He can then suffer knowing he drove her away with his ridiculous, sexist actions.
Also I really really love Veronica and Kev but them not being a part of the Gallagher storylines is really rubbish. It was at its best when everyone was more involved in each other's lives.

Hate away Fiona

By this point in the show most of the storylines have gotten lazy and stupid. The characters are also on the verge of annoying and hated. It's Fiona last season and they took the F Fiona approach to it. Guess this is what happens when the reboot outlast the original source material and the writers get rich and lazy.
